Founder

AlHuda International School (AIS) was established in September 2010 by Dr. Farhat Hashmi, founder of Al-Huda International Welfare Foundation.

Dr. Hashmi, Chief Executive of AIS heads the planning and development of the school, paying special attention to the Islamic curriculum design and integration.

After obtaining a Ph.D. in “Hadith Sciences” from the University of Glasgow Scotland Dr. Farhat Hashmi, one of the most renowned scholars of the century, has carried her mission of spreading knowledge of Quran and Sunnah around the globe. She has taught Islam without any discrimination with respect for all schools of thought. Uncountable students around the world continue the mission dedicatedly.

Through authentic teachings, of Islam Dr. Hashmi has been tremendously influential in bringing people closer to Allah. This has been achieved through highly effective lectures that are taught in person and broadcasted worldwide through different resources, i.e. CDs, cassettes online lectures and television.

Playing an active role in welfare activities Dr. Hashmi steers Al-Huda International Welfare Foundation to spreading knowledge of the Quran and Hadeeth, helping the impoverished, aiding to develop skills that will help earn a living and improve the quality of life.

Dr. Hashmi was listed as one of “The 500 Most Influential Muslims 2010” published by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre that is associated with the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought. Also named “one of 100 most influential women of Pakistan” published in “Newsweek Pakistan” March 2011 Amman, Jordan.

Educational Philosophy

“Since long, I felt a dire need for schools that would help connect children with Allah right from their early years, nurturing them into adulthood with a true understanding of the Qur’an and Sunnah, strong academic knowledge and a balanced personality.

“Our aim is to produce students of Knowledge and virtue, whose hearts are filled with the love and trust on Allah, who have great communication skills, who are true representatives of Muslim Ummah and who will benefit all mankind, Insha’Allah.”
