Annual Games Prize Distribution Ceremony

AlHuda International School held its first Annual games from 24th February 2014 – 30th April 2014 giving students the opportunity to participate in over 30 different events!

Primary Section, Secondary Section & Hifz students’ prize distribution ceremony of the Annual Games was held on 27th May in which 180 position holders were awarded trophies, badges and certificates. 5A (girls) & 5B (boys) were declared the ‘Best Behaved’ classes during the annual games.

Prizes were also given to sports teachers for their hard work, section head for her support and the director for his visionary steps taken for the promotion of sports.

Director School, Sir Atif Iqbal was the chief guest of the event. While addressing the students, he emphasized the sunnah of sportsmanship amongst Muslims. He related the story of the race of Aisha (ra) with Rasool Allah (s.a.w), thereby encouraging girls not to hold back in sports.

Preschool & Montessori students’ (F-8 Campus) prize distribution ceremony was held on 28th May 2014. Amongst the recitation of takbeerat by their class fellows, the winners were jubilant at receiving their well-deserved prizes.

The chief guests, Ma’am Sadia Naveed & Ma’am Farah, section heads of Primary and Secondary sections respectively, encouraged the winners as well as the participants.

Preschool & Montessori students’ (F-10 Campus) prize distribution ceremony was held on 30th May 2014. It was heart-warming to witness young athletes being acknowledged for their zeal in sports. They were rewarded with trophies, badges and certificates leading to unrestrained smiles and moments of joy. Cheif guest, Sadia Naveed said, ‘when someone gets any happiness and there is a time of celebration, he/she should always remember Allah (swt) and should be thankful to Him’.

Ma’am Bushra Jabeen congratulated winners and encouraged the runner ups. She also highlighted the importance of sports saying that it makes bodies active and minds sharper.
