On 16th September 2014, AIS took Advance Montessori students on a nature walk to a nearby park. It was a fun and learning experience for the students. The children were reminded of the amazing creations of Allah Al-Khaliq.
Here is what the children did:
- They noticed and discussed the beautiful variation in the creation of Allah Al-Khaliq; such as plants, stones, leaves, insects and many other things. They also enjoyed collecting leaves and stones.
- They observed the tiny insects closely through magnifying glasses and were excited to see the mushrooms.
- As our monthly moral theme was ‘cleanliness’, the students were encouraged to pick up the wrappers in the park and throw them in the bin on their way back to school to keep the environment clean. They made sure to wash their hands after reaching school.
Alhamdulillah it was a great practical experience for the budding learners in which they learnt about the creation of Allah, how it affects us and our responsibility in taking care of our environment and the tiny creatures in it.
