Opening of Campuses

As per directive of the Government, we expect that the campuses will open to welcome the students by 15th September, In Sha Allah. A final confirmation from the Ministry of Education is expected by the first week of September in this regard. To ensure safety of our students while following all SOPs, we have come up with a comprehensive plan for school reopening and will share it with the parents in due course. In the meantime, please note that if the Government gives a go ahead to open schools by 15th September, we plan to invite students in phases:

1st Phase:        Students of Lower Secondary (Grade 5-7)and Secondary/ IGCSE/Matric & AS Level

2nd Phase:      Students of Primary Section

3rd Phase:       Students of Montessori Section

The students will be further divided into groups to ensure social distancing within classes, corridors, etc.

Shifting of Campuses (ISB)

We have already shared the news about shifting of the entire Primary Section (Grade 1-4) from F-8 to H-11 campus. Going forward, the F-8 campus will have senior classes of IGCSE/Matric/AS Level and existing classes of Montessori Section. We understand that it is a difficult situation for both parents and the school, but this decision has been taken after carefully considering all merits and in the best interest of our students. We are confident that this move will ensure that our students receive quality education from some of the best teachers in Islamabad and the school is able to meet all regulations of the awarding bodies. We appreciate the support of our parental community and are committed to provide quality education along with character building to our children.

The senior classes will have separate entrances and areas of learning for girls and boys. Entry gate and other procedures will be shared with the students and parents close to the opening of school, In Sha Allah.

We do understand that some additional transport arrangements might be required for students who are dropped off along with their siblings in a different campus. If you wish to avail the shuttle service, please fill the form available at https://bit.ly/aistransport so we can make some suitable arrangements for such students when the school physically reopens.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our students the very best in the new academic year. May Allah (swt) guide us to prepare these young children as future leaders of Muslim Ummah.

Wassalam,

AIS Administration
