AIS is very particular about the syllabus. We use a wide range of the best available educational books and material in the market and then customize it in order to integrate Islamic concepts and values in the curriculum. Alhamdulillah, our qualified Islamic Curriculum Team is in charge of the integration.
The Islamic Curriculum Team at AIS, under the supervision of Dr. Farhat Hashmi, is in the process of developing an International Islamic Curriculum, which is based on authentic sources and is delivered in an age-appropriate manner. Darussalam books are used as syllabus books in grades 1 – 5. The main focus is on practical implementation of the concepts learnt. This is to ensure that the Islamic concepts taught are not just part of the student’s books, but also becomes an integral part of his/her way of life Insha’Allah.
