Dhul Hijjah Day 6: His Humility

Pause & Reflect:

While doing good deeds, am I worried whether Allah will accept them?
Do I look down upon others?

Action

Today, resist the urge to seek praise. Serve, help, or give silently. Replace takabbur  (arrogance) with tawadhu (humility) and ask Allah to purify your heart.

Dua

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ، وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ، وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لاَ تَشْبَعُ، وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لاَ يُسْمَعُ

“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, a heart that does not humble, a soul that is never satisfied, and a prayer that is not answered.”
(Sunan an-Nasa’i)
