🌟 Juz 23: وَمَا لِيَ
Be Compassionate; Soften the Heart!
There are two types of people:
1️⃣ Those whose chest Allah ﷻ has opened for Islam, so Islam has permeated in their chest; it dwells in their hearts.
2️⃣ Those whose heart is too hard to even remember Allah ﷻ.
How is it that we can become people of the first category?
How is it that we become of those people whose chest Allah ﷻ has opened up to Islam?
How do we fix a heart that has become hard?
💠HADITH: A man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he complained about the hardness of his heart. The Prophet said, “If you want to soften your heart, feed the poor and pat the head of the orphan.” (Musnad Aḥmad)
Meaning, go help those who are in need; especially, give them food with your own hands; and show compassion to orphaned children.
