As human beings we all need friends, we want people to have conversations with, to have fun with, but sometimes a person can also get trapped within the wrong social circle.

If someone is taking us away from the Remembrance of Allah, from the Qur’ān, from reciting it and following it, then we must become vigilant in this life rather than be full of regret in the life after.

HADITH: The Prophet ﷺ warned us that, ‘A man is upon the religion of his friend, so let one of you look at whom he befriends.’ [Jami` at-Tirmidhi]

Because, remember we are an average of the five people that we surround ourselves with the most.

So look around, who are we hanging out with?
