Unlock Your Hearts!
Our hearts need to be opened, so that Imān (faith) and the effects of the Holy Qur’ān can penetrate it and soothe it. You see, when a lock is put on a door, that means that the door is closed, that means nothing can go inside or come out. Likewise, a locked heart cannot receive guidance and nourishment; no light can enter it and hence the individual will live in darkness.
We must unlock our hearts and allow the Qur’ān to enter it, heal it. Only then will we find true guidance and solace.
⚜️The Prophet ﷺ explained that, ‘People are like mines.’ [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim]
Implying that there’s so much good that’s hiding inside each one of us, but that good is not going to come out until and unless we benefit from the Qur’ān, ponder upon it and recognize that it is a source of Divine knowledge, truth, and guidance.
We must allow the Qur’ān to illuminate our lives, and then rejoice in how beautiful our lives and afterlife will become, In Shā Allāh.
