Qura’nic & Masnoon Du’as | Day 29
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوْبَنَا بَعْدَ اِذْ ھَدَيْتَنَا وَھَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَّدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْوَھَّابُ
اے ہمارے رب! جب تو نے ہمیں ہدایت دے دی ہے تو ہمارے دلوں کو ٹیڑھا نہ کر اور ہمیں اپنی طرف سے رحمت عطا کر ،بے شک تو بہت زیادہ عطا کرنے والا ہے۔
Our Rabb, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
(Surah Aal-e-‘Imran: 8)
Ya Allah, after acquiring the knowledge, after being guided, after seeing and acknowledging the Truth- do not take the gift of guidance away from us. Protect us lest our ignorance, arrogance, short-sightedness or stubbornness becomes a cause for us to turn away from the Truth. Enable us to remain firm on the right path; to be of those who are guided and those who guide. Protect us from our actions that can lead us astray, protect us from the evil of our own nafs, protect us from the influence of shaitan and from company that takes us away from You and Hidayah.
Save our hearts from fitnas of this day and age. Amongst the chaos, make us well grounded on faith. Make us sincere for YOU ya Allah – save our niyyah, purify it to the core and don’t let any impurities mix in it. Don’t let our Faith wear out until our last breath.
We can’t do this without Your Mercy. We are asking You for Your Mercy- Rahmah from YOU – Your Mercy is vast; encompassing everything. With Your Special Mercy, admit us to the gardens of Jannah! Ameen Ya Rabb!
