Start the month of Dhul Hijjah with a memorable experience with your children… look out for the new moon at Maghrib time and recite this Mansoon Du’a for sighting the new moon!
اللَّهُمَّ أَهْلِلهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالإِيمَانِ والسَّلامَةِ والإِسْلامِ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللهُ
یا اللہ ہم پر یہ چاند امن، ایمان، سلامتی اور اسلام کے ساتھ طلوع فرما۔ (اے چاند) میرا اور تیرا رب اللہ ہے۔
O Allah, let this moon rise upon us with prosperity and imaan, with safety and Islam. Oh moon my Lord and your Lord is Allah.

Moon Sighting Dua
In the Islamic calendar, Dhul Hijjah marks the final month of the year. It is also a time most beloved to Allah (SWT). This is especially true for the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah.
⚜️ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,
“There are no days during which the righteous action is so pleasing to Allah than these days (i.e., the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah).” [Al-Bukhari]
