🌟 Juz 15: سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي
Speak the Truth!
We should not pursue that of which we have no or incomplete knowledge, implying that we should not confuse assumptions with facts. We must choose not to base our actions or live our life on assumptions, instead base it on facts!
When we speak, when we take action, when we do something, we must make sure it is based on factual knowledge and not mere assumptions. And this includes not passing on every single ‘news’ that we hear, without verification.
Qatādah said, “Do not say, ‘I have seen’, when you did not in fact see, or ‘I heard’, when you did not actually hear, or ‘I know’, when you do not actually know, because Allah will ask you about all of this.”
Our eyes, ears, tongue, and heart will be questioned, so we should not pursue of which we have no knowledge but use these faculties wisely, productively and in the obedience to Allah ﷻ.
