Qura’nic & Masnoon Du’as | Day 16
َللّٰهُمَّ مُصَرِّفَ الْقُلُوْبِ صَرِّفْ قُلُوْبَنَا عَلَی طَاعَتِكَ
اے ﷲ! دلوں کو پھیرنے والے ہمارے دلوں کو اپنی اطاعت کی طرف پھیر دے۔
O Allah! The One who turns the hearts, turn my heart towards Your obedience.
(Sahih Muslim)
O my Rabb. I am weak and vulnerable. My heart, my emotions and desires constantly fluctuate. I acknowledge that my heart is completely in Your control. You have complete power to turn it any way you like. O the Most Compassionate – turn my heart to Your Obedience. Ya Allah, don’t let my heart incline towards evil- evil intentions, evil actions, evil company, evil destinations. Don’t leave me upon my nafs for even the slightest moment. Make my heart completely turn towards YOU, Your Obedience, Your Guidance, Your Worship and Your Pleasure and make me steadfast on Your Deen.
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said:
“Verily, the hearts of all the sons of Adam are between the two fingers out of the fingers of the Compassionate Lord as one heart. He turns that to any (direction) He likes. Then Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said:
‘0 Allah, the Turner of the hearts, turn our hearts to Your obedience.’”
(Sahih Muslim)
