Qura’nic & Masnoon Du’as | Day 17
رَبَّنَا وَاٰتِنَا مَا وَعَدْتَّنَا عَلَی رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا یَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ اِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِیْعَادَ
اے ہمارے رب! اور ہمیں عطا فرما جس کا وعدہ تو نے اپنے رسولوں کے ذریعے کیا اور ہمیں قیامت کے دن رسوا نہ کرنا ،بے شک تو اپنے وعدے کے خلاف نہیں کرتا۔
Our Rabb, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise.
(Surah Aali ‘Imran: 194)
Our Rabb, Your messengers conveyed to mankind Your promise that those who believe and do good deeds will be granted Jannah, that they will receive Your Mercy and Forgiveness, that they will get good in this world and the HereAfter. Ya Allah, grant us all the good that You promised.
Ya Malik-i-Yawmiddeen, ya Allah, on the Day of Judgement, when You will bring the entire creation to account, ya Rabb – do not disgrace us. Conceal for us our sins and lapses. Have Mercy on us that Day. Ya Allah, purify our niyyah so that the ‘amal that we do is accepted by Your Majesty and is not rejected on the Day of Judgment. Ya Allah, give us Tawfeeq to abstain from those acts that nullify our own good deeds.
“Allāh has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally…”
[Surah At-Tawbah: 72]
Allah – we believe that there is no promise truer than Your promise. Please grant us good in this world and Jannah in the next. Ameen Ya Rabbul Alameen.
